Hamburger hash 1 lb hamburger meat 1 large onion 2 tbsp garlic 3 large potatoes chopped Saute the onions until soft (about 12min), add the hamurber meat and brown. Drain the grease and add the potatoes. Add 1 cup of water and simmer for 30min until the potatoes are soft. Cream of Potato and Onion Soup I made this up yesterday, I wanted to use left over crap in the fridge. 6 large potatoes 2 large onions, chopped 2 cans of chicken broth 2 cups of buttermilk 1 tbsp Basil 1 tbsp Rosemary 2 tbsp Celery Seed salt, pepper Saute the onions until soft, about 15min. Add salt, pepper, basil, rosemary, celery seed. Add chopped potatoes and the chicken broth. Cook on high heat until potatoes are soft, about 20min. Blend the mixture up and add the buttermilk. Simmer on low heat for about 15min and adjust spices as needed. |
