Rep Power: 46  | Green Beans with Horseradish Sauce 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped 2 T olive oil 2 T mayonnaise 2 T prepared white horseradish ½ t sugar ½ t salt Pinch of ground nutmeg 1 lb green beans, trimmed In a small bowl, stir together the garlic, olive oil, mayonnaise, horseradish, sugar, salt, and nutmeg. Steam the green beans until they are cooked but still crunchy. Transfer to a medium bowl and pour the sauce over them. Let cool. Serve chilled or room temp. |
