8. The line was too long at Starbucks.

9. I was trying to get my gun back from the police.

10. I didn't have money for gas because all of the pawnshops were closed.

Years ago, I called my boss and told him I had to stop and get tampons. That makes way more sense than some of those. Especially since he's a guy and he's not going to question a woman's plumbing.

the route from my house to work WAS shut down by a presidential motorcade once. unfortunately it wasn't in the morning but at the end of the day, which made getting home a major pain in the ass.

I think Gene Taylor will be around Friday so if you're caught in traffic...
