Rep Power: 25 | | | 80's movies I know a few of yall on here are in your twenties and there is nothing wrong with that at all, hell I remember when I was there. Where I am going with this is man you are so lucky in regards to technology. I just finished watching Revenge of the Nerds and the Last Star fighter and while both are considered corny they were at the time big hits. Last Starfighter was on the cutting edge of movie making with the scenes in space and the space combat; nothing compared to today but it was so cool. I also have the Starwars collection before Lucas digitized it and replace the original A Skywalker with the kid from the first 3 movies. I'm sure one day they might be worth some cash; they are even on Stereo VHS.
Ok I am finished going down memory lane....

Rep Power: 48 | | I loved "The Breakfast Club" and the song that went something like Don't you forget about me...as you walk on by.

j/k man, love ya. | Wasn't one back then, I was hard core ARMY, Kill or Be Killed. Didn't become a computer Geek until around 88. But by then I was a guitar slinging southern rock playing fool.........

I got that out of the bargin bin at walmart for 5 bucks, they had part one and part two. I also purchased the entire Godzilla collection (the older ones before 98) for 5 bucks also. Just something cool about a guy in a plastic suit trashing up a plastic and balsa wood city

Rep Power: 49 | | | Brazil was one of my mid-80s favs. Most of Terry Gilliam's work is on my list~
Raising Arizona is another from that era that I dig.
I also liked Strange Brew w/ Bob & Doug McKenzie from SCTV, but I'm the only person I know who does. forgot to add:
this is spinal tap
