We're gonna need a bigger net and a vat of pasta! It's Calamari for everyone tonight!


 Fishermen off the coast of New Zealand have caught a Giant Squid (990 lbs, 39 feet long). Only glimpses of this animal have recently been witnessed with underwater cameras, and it had been the subject of sea-faring myths for centuries. Now there is actual proof of one existing. Sometimes the corpses of a giant Squid would wash up on shore, but folks would often debate that it was something else (since it's usually decomposed beyond recognition). The debate is over now. Sometimes it goes to show, this planet is full of crazy-ass animals we have yet to discover.

The really impressive part was when they cut it open and found a perfectly preserved Unicorn corpse inside.

Ah... yet another great beast has been found!

...On the heels of the discovery of the Giant Squid, here is another recently discovered creature from the depths of the Antarctic.

Behold!


The Psychedelic Octopus!

---Yep, that's really the name. It's a blind octopus that lights up underwater (hence the name). Due to Global Warming, new areas of the antarctic are becoming accessible to submarines. Since the ice melted all sorts of new ocean floor is opened for discovery. We'll probably find Cthulhu down there soon. See the article for yourself...
