...How early Christmas started this year?
Halloween wasn't even over yet!
This is getting really annoying. Before we know it, Christmas is going to start during summer vacation.

Where I work they had already put Christmas decorations out BEFORE Halloween. And the day after Halloween they started playing nothing but Christmas music. What about the people that don't do Christmas... I've had so many complaints about it. I'm like what can I do. It annoys me too. People are getting silly with it. And I know what you mean about before to long there going it at summer time.

My theory is, Christmas doesn't start until you eat the bird.

It is sad that Thanksgiving is missed because it is not a commercial holiday. All holidays should be about family and friends, well the big holidays, but since "we can't sell you anything" it doesn't matter.

When I was little, I remember lights and trees going up a week or two into December. How it starts in October now is unbelievable to me.

I also hate how Thanksgiving is skipped. It's the only holiday where 'gifting' isn't involved. It's the only holiday that's actually about family togetherness and all that and it just gets smooshed into Christmas. Sad.
