Divorce Sucks

yep, the big D is headed my way, and it sucks. I don't want it.

It sucks even more when the kids that we love get stuck in the middle.

I got called "asshole" and was told "I don't care about you" in front of our kids tonight. CHRISTMAS EVE!!! OF ALL NIGHTS. on top of that, when I asked her to help setup santa's gift, (and yes, he's not real) she got mad and stormed out of the house and told me to call her when the kids wake up. Is it just me or is that a little bit crazy?

sorry for spilling dirty laundry as they say, but I really have no one to talk to around here that I can trust, so ya'll are my shoulder...... boohooohooooooooooo.....

I could tell you things I would have done different when my marriage(s) fell apart.
I learned something each time, gave each one, a house, a car, money or something, but didn't learn the most important lesson.

i probably do need to start jamming again. Hell, I gave up my last gig to be with my family, and look where where that went.....

I 've got the jam room, equipment, and desire. now I have the time. who knows, may be a blessing in disguise.

cool, thanks. I'm not ready for auditioning just yet. gotta get my chops back up, but hey, its like riding a bike right?.....haha

I have been playing a lot of guitar lately. I wouldn't mind finding something 'thrashy' to jam with.

I still have my bass rig though.....(hint...hint)

I agree with the Wayniac. I know I do not know everything about your relationship, but I hope you two are able to find an alternative to getting divorced....especially for the kids. It may be worth it to suffer a bit of hostility in the hopes of working it out.

And nothing helps a relationship like having your own "thing" be it school, music, etc. THAT I can speak from experience.

I do a lot of comedy on the subject(why do divorces cost so much? THE'RE WORTH IT) But in reality a divorce is a good thing if you need one. Please, please, please do not stay together for the sake of the kids. It's not their problem unless you make it that way. They NEED for you to be the best, happiest, most content productive human you can be. Continuous confrontation between their biggest role-models is just not good. I was married for 25 years while being a full time musician and did not know how easy a relationship could be until I met Chris 12 years ago. A mediocre marriage is a lot worse than a mediocre band on EVERYBODY.
