Do You Put Your Cart Back?

So do you put your cart back in the little corral thingie? Its hot and those guys have a really hard job. Are you the dick that makes them work harder? Are you the fuckhead that leaves scratches on my car?

So what do you do?

I am so glad you brought this up, marc.
let me tell you lazy fucks who don't put the cart back something---

I believe the "not putting the cart back" situation is in many ways a metephore for how FUCKING lazy this country has become.
Look at the fatt-ass kids, the whiny week dicks with their pink shirts, fast food, instant gratification, EMO, etc etc.

My nephew says "why are taking the cart all the way back to the store?"
I said - "you know why we take the cart back? because we're not lazy. Hudnall's aren't lazy people."

I even go the x-tra mile (which is actually ONLY about an x-tra 50 feet) and take it inside the store.

I have on more than one occasion yelled out at a total stranger.." hey lazy, you mind at least putting your cart in the little rack that's 20 feet away?"

much the same way i say "YOU'RE WELCOME" reeeeally loud when I hold the door for somone and they don't say "thank you".

I do it during the day but most of the time when I go to the store after dark I'm by myself so I just leave it in the next empty space. But depending upon how far I'm parked from the buggy corral sometimes I will take it back. I have had more than a few run-ins with weird people in parking lots after dark.. so it makes me uncomfortable if the corral is far away.

Thanks Matt! Not to get off the subject but you wouldn't believe some of the stories that I've heard.

"I just got jumped at the bus station and need a few bucks because they took all my money." Now mind you the bus station in Gulfport is a long way from the parking lot I was in..

Then another guy told me he needed money to go in Walmart and buy a starter for his truck. Um, I'm not a complete idiot and I know Walmart doesn't sell those.

And no, there is NOTHING that you could do for me to make money.

And before that guy was arrested a couple weeks ago in Ocean Springs for kidnapping those women at Ocean Springs Walmart after dark.. I was very precautionary. I looked at everyone within a 100ft distance of me!

I think I'm done being off subject now!

Oh, this is one of my pet peeves! It makes me so mad to see five carts in one parking spot when the coral thingy is ten feet away!

I was at Wal Mart one day and when I was putting my cart up, I grabbed three others on the way. A lady said, "well, that was nice of you" I said, "Yes it is, and it was lazy of them."

I do the same thing. I even had a guy try to give me his cart (he thought i worked there) I told him he could follow me and grab one or two as well.

Always. I'll also get one out of the parking lot before I go in the store if I need one. I know it's part of their job but I feel sorry for those guys getting the carts. I was in Hollister the other day and I asked a young fellow if he minded folding clothes all day because people were too lazy to put them back the way they were and he told me that it sure beat his old job of rounding up carts at Winn Dixie. I told him "good point".

Story time

Many many years ago when there was a Big Star groc store on the beach in Biloxi (just east of Rodenburg) my mother came out of the store with a cart loaded to the top. As she was unlocking the trunk, the cart got away (the parking lot slopes down towards 90) and was plowed by a car traveling west at about 60 mph. It was a grocery explosion! No one was hurt and Mom was so embarrassed....

btw, I always put the cart back!
