Rep Power: 54 | | | Download 3 Doors Down new album for $0.99 Support our local boys and get their new album online for less than a dollar. It's not even worth trying to steal the album when you can download it for less than a double cheeseburger from McDonalds.

Rep Power: 47 | | | hell yeah. Does this mean the end to the already defunked record companies? With NIN and 3DD offering next to nothing downloads, and more to follow, Therecord companies will be hurtin for certain.

they signed groups, and artists in to lopsided contracts.
touring payed the companies for recording charges for the album, along with any other charges they could stack on.

Rep Power: 47 | | | didn't green day do something similar?
and who was one of the first major bands to go on myspace and "give away" their music? That pretty much kicked myspace into stardom.

Rep Power: 48 | | | I wouldn't get too excited about the major labels going away. I am sure they are behind all this. But hopefully not. |
