Ashley had her gallbladder surgery today and there was a complication. The doctor doing the surgery cut the wrong duct. He cut the bile duct instead of the gallbladder duct. So he had to open her up and a surgery that should have taken only 30 mins to do took 5 hrs. She is revocering in the singing river hospital in room 2022. They are going to be watching her for infection for the next couple of days. I will update ya when I hear anything new.

Poor thing. What a goober for a doc. That reminds me of the lady who went to get leg surgery and came out with a new anus.

His name is Dr Bailey and she is in Singing River Hospital. She is in bad pain today. And all the pain medications they give her she is allergic to. She will be in there another day for sure. She can't eat or drink anything still. It's been 3 days since she was able to consume anything. And the nurses are rude as heck I guess they found out she doesn't have any health insurance.

It doesn't matter now if she had insurance or not, since she has a malpractice suit for the doc cutting the wrong duct. They better take good care of her or they'll be even mnore sorry than the malpractice suit's gonna make them.

Hope she's doing all right- sorry to hear that.

I've always been told that if there's any way possible to avoid Singing River hospital, it's worth the trouble. I've had several friends who barely survived staph infections they got there.
