That's awful!!! Send Ashley my well wishes. I hope she gets to feeling better soon. That really sucks that she's allergic to the pain meds. That really does suck. Get a lawyer!

Someone told her the other day that if she filed a malpractice suit that no doctor in jackson county would ever touch her again. But she said she didn't care she never wanted to see another doctor again. I'll sent her your love.

Who cares what people say.. She could go to Mobile or Harrison County.. it's the point of the matter and any sensible doctor can see that it was the doctor who made the mistake not someone who's trying to make a buck off of someone.

Today's update. They have taken her I.V. out but the port is still in incase they have to hook her back up. Her colon still hasn't woken up and started working. So she has to stay there until she can get some gas moving from the lower regions. She feels better than yesterday but it still hurting. She says thanks for all the well wishes. But she will be in the hospital another night at least.

Damn. Doctors are unbelievable. She should go ahead with the lawsuit regardless of who's telling her what.

And I've never heard anything good about Singing River.

I would specifically name the person who threatened her with withholding future medical care when she files the malpractice suit. That kind of crap needs to be exposed and I bet they do it all the time to discourage busting the docs who screw up.

Hey guys, I'm doing a lot better. They thought I was about to have to have another operation but luckily I didn't. The thought I had a leak but I didn't it was just the drain they have in me. But I'm actually home today. I go back to the doc Monday. Thank you all for you support and prayers. Theyh helped a lot

That right there is a malpractice suit itself... and it's threatening a patient (last time I checked..illegal too)

it really does. I had a doctor tell me that he'd call every doctor in Washoe County (in Reno) and tell them to "tell me the same thing" when I requested a hyseterectomy (side note: I'm glad I didn't because getting pregnant with Aleya solved the Endometriosis) but the point remains that doctors are just as sneaky and spoiled as any other rich person.
