I'm rooting for the new Star Trek movie simply because I hope it will generate interest in a new series. I was really bummed that Enterprise was cut short.

Maybe a series based on the 29th century time-traveling Federation that we saw in Voyager and Enterprise?

with Star Wars going animated (and a live-action TV series rumored to be in the works) and Trek being re-visioned- I hope something good comes out of it all.
I liked Voyager, but DS9 and Enterprise (maybe bcz of that theme 'song') never really did it for me.

Lately I've been paying more attention to British stuff like the new Dr Who and Torchwood. And even though their comedy stuff gets here about 2 yrs later, it still seems better to me than what passes for TV over here.
