Rep Power: 47 ![]() | HELP! Car issues.... Ok...This is strange. At least it is to me. My car is an 03 Neon. (I know, that was my first mistake) and it was never in a car accident. So this summer every once in a while the carpet in the back seat would be wet. I figured Aida didn't tighten a water bottle lid or something and it leaked. After about the third time I said no water in the car. Well, yesterday I get in the car and there is nearly an inch of water standing on the back passenger floorboard! But nobody had water in the car. Nobody went through a water puddle that big and the windows weren't down. Today it looked like the water seeped out some. But when I got in the car this afternoon, the back DRIVER side had a bunch of water standing in it!! It didn't even rain!! WHAT THE HELL?! |

Rep Power: 46 ![]() | if it's not a problem with the weatherstripping (does it happen when it's NOT raining at all?) then it might be that somehow the A/C line, like Wayne said, is the problem. Usually that collects in the front, but I don't see how else water could be getting in there if it's not from rain leaking in. Our Jeep Cherokee was doing that for a while; a cap had worked its way off the drain and the water was spilling onto the floorboard. You may need to have a drain unblocked, but I sure wouldn't know where to look for it on that model. |
