Life is a process of loss and gain....sometimes the loss is traumatic and sometimes the loss is productive (like losing a bad habit). I just try to go with the flow and be kind to myself and respect that all change brings about an uneasiness that time does mercifully subdue.

I honestly cannot remember a time in my life when I was not adjusting to some big change, be it positive or negative. But I would not wish it any other way! Keeps me on my toes!

Someone once asked me the same question in a job interview. I responded by "I welcome change, I thrive on change. If things don't change what kind of world would we be in?"

Recently, I've basically finished the big construction in my house. I'm very happy to say I have a beautiful kitchen and a great bath. Work is ALWAYS changing, it's never the same thing.

I'm ready for another big change though. I love learning new things and generally a big change occurs for me to have that opportunity.

BTW, Andrea, after scouring my new book I think I've narrowed down your secret but I'll never ask for a confirmation.

I normally throw it in a jar and then on a rainy day I'll roll it up and take it to the bank.

Not well at all! I always question why it happens. Then I just go day to day. Yes, sometimes it's for the good, but usually for me, it's for the worse and I don't deal well!
