II Far Gone is history

You read that correctly.
After I wrote that I was not booking anymore shows a month and half ago, and was quitting, the other guys read it here yesterday, and one of their girlfriends decided that she would be shitty, and a drama queen and harrass us on our honeymoon about it.
Not too cool, anyhoo...I got my fill, and decided it was time to tell them I quit so I did.
I really appreciate everybody heres support over the last several years.

We are booked six weeks on, six weeks off through 2008.

I wish David, and Adam both the best of luck.
David has always had his old school project, Enemies Friend, and Adam now has Flash point. Please make it out to their shows when you get a chance.

Everything comes to an end eventually. Sounds like you have an amicable attitude. Sorry one of your bandmates' girlfriends went Yoko on you though. Not cool to mess with you on your honeymoon.

It'll be funny after the law gets through sifting through her threatening MS IM's, cell texts, and voicemail threat on Heathers cellphone.
Dumb ass didn't have enough sence to NOT do that.
We could press charges, but for Davids sake we'll leave it alone.

Spoke with Adam today, he is cool, but as I, was he was ready to move on as well.
Don't like his direction, but I support him just the same, because I love him like if he was my brother.
Hate to leave him, he was awesome, and we had been in a band together for 7+ years.

Wow, she went so far as to threaten you? Sorry to hear that. You know, the law doesn't take that stuff lightly; she's be lucky if they don't press charges on their own. Embarrassing for her BF too.

It's good that the band is splitting amicably though. Very mature of you all to realize that you've just grown indifferent directions. Music's a labor of love, one person's paradise is another's prison. To keep the friendship and love of the person intact, while realizing that musically you've changed, grown, however you want to put it - is the best way to go.

It's so easy for bands not to realize that, because they've all been inside the situation for years, and not be able to separate the personal and musical relationships. Believe me, I learned that the hard - and stupid- way, and hate to say that I didn't learn it very quickly, or with only one experience.

Good for you guys. I'm sure you'll all kick ass in your varied ways with the new stuff. And

I'm going the show band direction.
When we get everything polished, we should be the hottest variety band on the coast.

I'm not an asset to a GQ boy rock band, cuz I'm too old...LOL (i could care less)
I'll leave that for the kids, and the aging 30 something guys in the wannabe rock star bands around here.
I was there 10 years ago.
I had my time in the lime light.
It was fun.
