By far! When I think about how horrible the music that the other kids my age listened to was (80's music is quite scary to me, sorry, lol) I just feel bad for them!

My kids listen to what I listen to. And like you if it has a bad word in it I change the channel or skip that song. My daughter loves 311.

The boys just like loud music right now, lol. They used to make fun of me rocking out to Pantera while we cleaned, but they got all into now with their air guitars and sliding across the kitchen floor lol.

I don't really change EVERY cuss word song or I wouldn't be able to listen to my songs, but yeah, that "FUCK" song is one of the ones I do for sure!

Yeah I understand that. Sometimes if it is just one word i turn the sound down for that one word. But there is no and never will me any barney playing in my car or house. lol

I was never into lyrics anyway. I was always dissecting the bass or guitar, till one day I had "The Pusher" by Steppenwolf cranked on my stereo. That got my attention, and my mom's.

I'm a chic, and an emotional one at that, so lyrics are always my thing... that's why I'm re-marrying a singer, lol. You can't say no to someone who writes songs about you... lol.

I guess as far as cussing goes, I'm actually quite lienent. It's the content. When someone says that "fucking sucks", I'm not as pressed to change the station as when someone says more vulgar sex oriented language, ya know.
