I'm posting the email that I sent everyone that's been to the two practices we've had so far just incase anyone on the board here still wants to play. It's not too late. Here it is:

Thanks to everyone for coming out yesterday for what turned out to be a good practice. I hope you enjoyed the base running drill we did. We will be doing something like that every practice after batting practice so be prepared to run. We will be practicing again tomorrow, Wednesday, March 26th at the same field and same time. If you haven't paid your $30 I really need you to be able to pay that by this wednesday if at all possible. We probably won't have another practice after wednesday before the deadline to turn in the money so we really need to get that taken care of. If you need to write a check please make it payable to "City of Gulfport". Teams that do not make payment by April 1st will no be eligible to participate in the league.

The Co-Ed League games will start April 10th
Deadline for teams being in uniform is April 14th
Each team is allowed 24 players
Deadline to add players to roster is April 20th
Games will be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday nights
For a player to be eligible to play in the post season tournament, he or she must play a minimum of 4 league games
No steel cleats
Each game has a one hour time limit
Teams can not have more males than females in the line-up
Batters will start with 1 ball and 1 strike in the count
No titanium bats

These are just some of the rules. I will try to have print-outs for everyone wednesday. We will also need to decide on a team color for our shirts wednesday and I'll need to get everyone's sizes and what number you want. I also need you to let me know your 1st and 2nd choice as far as what positions you want to play. It's not guaranteed that you'll get it but it will help me figure it out. Sorry I didn't make it. My hubby is having heart surgery this friday. So I've been busy with family here lately. Hope it goes well for you.
