I like the ideas you guys are suggesting. I always wanted to do something like this. I just didn't know how many people actually would want to do it to. I think if we charge an admission fee, we possibly could bring in a big group at the end of the night. Ya know? It would so much fun. Have it like on a Saturday night.

I like the cooking contest. Sounds good. Vendors could set up and sell food. I'm sure they would get a kick out of that. Maybe even have anyone who wanted to set up games...ya know..like the fair.

I think it would be a freakin awesome idea. Might put some bars out of business for a night, but oh well...we really need to have this in the spring.

Ya know...My husband is a cop, so...I can have security taken care of.

We could have Sponsors to help support the event. That way their name is out there....have banners hung up and stuff. I think we could make this work really really well.

If you guys want to try and do this, I will need some help. We gotta get bands to like the idea. I have the security taken care of already. Dont worry about that.

1. time/place
2. bands approvals
3. sponsors (wabb/cpr/etc..)
4. vendors (gotta have food and drinks)
5. admission charges (what does the proceeds go to???)
6. security (taken care of)

wow...theres so much that I'm so missing...

I agree with Craig on the Harrison County Fair Grounds. But...I have no control over the security over there. I know for certain I have it handled if it was here.
