This thread is dedicated for the discussion of those that wonder where we came from, why are we here, and what is the meaning of life?
Religion and science are two mutual factors that coincide with one another that influence the world. Religion has always persecuted science, for example Galileo when he stated that the sun is indeed the center of our galaxy.
I believe, however, that science reinforces religion and creates the foundation that validates the truths. God works in symmetry, and if anybody has read Angels and Demons, you will know what I am talking about.
Anyways, discuss what you think the meaning of life is in legitamate terms (as this is for serious debaters). Back up your arguement with facts from your religious/political/scientific beliefs. |

I do feel, however, that everything happens for a reason. At least, I sure as hell hope so. It means that what has happened to me happened for a reason, it wasn't just random shit. I won't know those reasons, but there is a reason I had to go through it. |
