Miss me?

aww you know you did!

Mark and I took the kids to New Orleans for him to record and then hit up his family in Hattisburg, jammed with his guitarist in Wiggins before heading to the coast for a day (of emotions like crazy) and then to Baton Rouge to see his other sister before coming home.

Safe to say I don't want to see a car for a long time...

So what's been new around here?

We weren't going to go anywhere but New Orleans, but once I got there I got homesick. We really only were on the coast for half a day, we spent most the time in Hattisburg/Wiggins and Baton Rouge.

Soon enough though. I'm so ready to move back! We're shooting for the first of the year to move comfertably and with no repercussions (spelling sucks, but it looks cool that way) financially (ie: lease and Christmas not being ruined)

Stealth run, eh? That sounds like close to 4,000 miles if you drove all the way from AZ and back! I can imagine you didn't have much time other than doing the tasks you came for, after driving with the kids over that kind of distance.

My brother, niece and I drove from Santa Monica to Sacramento, THEN to Biloxi and back, in 1994 for a family reunion. That one was well over 5,000 miles by the time we were done! Nothing like the Mojave Desert in August and your AC is making the car overheat! Now I know how beef jerky feels!

OMG you have no idea. I can tell you I won't be visiting Texas anytime soon. Not only did I get a speeding ticket (83 in a 70 while passing a truck that was doing 50 until I got up on him then decided to speed up) but it took forever and a fucking day!

The rental is at 4,565 miles that we've put on it! We were only suposed to be gone from Saturday until Wednesday and we JUST got home at 4 am this morning! I'm amazed that we got to see as many people as we did. It turned out to be a trip for Mark. He got to see his band (after 4 years) and his family (after 5 years) and I got to see my coast, although sad, it was nice.

Yeah, Texas will drive you insane! It's most of the trip, even going to California and back. Very monotonous too....

Booo!! You didn't call me...lol j/k. Glad you had some fun. And I can't wait to hear the new stuff the guys recorded. Oh and can't wait for you to move back!!!
