Staying in the military for a bit longer may be your best bet... both my older sisters (one in AF, other in Army) keep opting to stay in after lengthy talks about getting out & finding civilian positions. It's kinda funny... they are competitive about who gets to "get out" first yet neither one takes that step... because the military keeps making it a sweet deal to stay in. Much different from when my father was in the service (25 something years), these days (from what I've been told) one is capable of having more of a successful career in the military... in accolades and the paycheck.
