We have two dogs but they're stupid. I feel safer with guns. I had no intentions of making light of your distress. If I weren't able to utilize or find humor in a crisis I probably would have put a barrel in my mouth years ago.
Just an example, while helping pick out a coffin for my brother, my sister and I got the giggles which became uncontrollable and we had to leave the room. The guy was like a freaking car salesman, like "check out this urn!, it's one of our most popular". It cracked me up! I guess that one of those situations...you just had to be there.

Yeah, I am glad I am okay too. I just don't see how some people can crack jokes about that type of situation. Laughter does help, I was more asking for sympathizing. Some of you see this now.

Well now I sympathize for you. Just for different reasons. Sometimes things will happen that we have no control over. A phone call will not change that. Sure, it'll make you feel better, but now that it's long been said and done, do you still need sympathy?
