It doesn't matter if I live here, in Texas or in Iraq. I only see her for a few months out of the year anyway. Damn near all I do, damn near all of my life choices revolve around her. Rep Power: 51 | | | The phrase "Go postal" or "makes me wanna go postal" has bothered me. Truth be told, there have been few incidences involving violent postmen. I'd say the movie "The Postman" had more effect on the pop-culture psyche than those violent postmen. So why can't "going postal" mean when a heroic Kevin Costner restores the destroyed United States? At least then the phrase would be used less often.

Was it because a post office is where the first media hyped shooting in the work place occurred? I don't know, there's been so many now, I'm curious though.
