Rep Power: 46 ![]() | I will never get another rabbit. I had two of them before and I hated them, they were mean as hell. I still have scars from them. I want a Scottish fold or a hairless cat. lol thats the only animal I want.

Rep Power: 48 ![]() | These rabbits are very gentle. Huge 12 pounders but gentle. They don't bite but they will kick if you don't hold them right. I'll have to look into the breeders association. And I googled a bunch of info but nothing beats talking to someone who's been there done that. And they are all the way in the back corner of my yard. But they don't stink yet, I know its coming but its not there yet. Thanks everyone!! |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | mine were gentle as well. If you want to cut back a great deal on smell - build a 2X6 wooden frame under the cages and put plywood with a bunch of real small holes in it inside of the frame. What you want is basically a wooden tray with holes to drain water if any gets into it. Go to lowes or home depot and buy the cheapest topsoil you can find. Put that on top of the plywood inside of the frame. Then go to a bait store and buy a couple of boxes of fishing worms and throw into the dirt. You can sell the worms too. They will eat the rabbit shit and turn it into dirt. I started out with 50 worms. In about 6 weeks I probably had several thousand or more. Most people I have heard make more money off of the worms than the rabbits. |

Rep Power: 48 ![]() | Thanks guys I will have to do the dirt thing cause the smell is getting rough out there. I'll have to get the huby to let me use the truck to go get the stuff. Three of my rabbit have ear mites and they had to of had them when I got them. But its all crustie and yellow in there ears. So I had some earadimite left over from my cats stash that I used on them but as soon as I can I'm going to get some wd-40. |
