1 8 oz tub of sour cream
1 8 oz can of DICED black olives
1 pkg of Fiesta Ranch Mix (I can only find this at Wal Mart)
1 pkg of Flour Tortillas

Mix the sour cream, fiesta ranch mix, and olives all together. Spread evenly onto tortillas. Let sit in fridge for about 2 hours so it firms up. Slice into bite size rolls.

Also, this makes a GREAT dip, just don't put it on the rolls!

And then I had this yesterday at Caroline's baby shower...SO GOOD!!

ham slices, medium thickness
cream cheese
Okra

Slice up the okra
Spread the cream cheese onto the ham slices. place okra in center and roll, hold together with a tooth pick.

FF Sour Cream mixed with a Fiesta Ranch packet is my family's favorite dip for veggies and chips.

I've never had those with okra before, but I've seen them with pickles in the middle at some parties. Sounds good though.

I made these a few nights ago.. whether you are vegetarian or not these are AWESOME and so worth it. Mmmm.. I'll definitely be making them again!

Recipe: Black Bean Burgers

These black bean veggie burgers from Jamaica are spicy and delicious.

Yield 4 burgers
Time 20 minutes
Tools
large frying pan
wooden spoon
food processor
large bowl
frying pan
spatula
Ingredients
2 T olive or vegetable oil
1½ c onions, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 T fresh ginger, minced
½ t allspice
½ t nutmeg
1½ c black beans, cooked or canned
1½ c cooked rice
½ habanero pepper or 1 jalapeño pepper, chopped (seeds optional)
1 c bread crumbs
1 t salt
black pepper
Directions Heat 1 T of oil and sauté the onions, stirring occasionally, until they soften, about 5 minutes. Add the garlic, ginger, allspice, and nutmeg and sauté for two more minutes.
Pour into food processor along with beans, rice, and peppers. Pulse repeatedly, until mixture is chopped, not puréed.

Transfer to bowl, add remaining ingredients, and mix well. Taste and adjust seasonings.

Shape into four patties, adding more bread crumbs if necessary.

Fry in 1 T oil over medium heat until crust forms, about 4 minutes per side.

Notes Adapted from Didi Emmons' Vegetarian Planet, in which they are called Jamaican Burgers.

Haha. I know.. when I'd cook actually get down to really cooking it would be monumental, right?

I didn't cook because you love to cook and you are kick-ass at it and because you don't like my mock meats and such.

I like cooking.. it's just pointless when you don't have anyone else that'll actually eat it. You couldn't eat a lot of the stuff I like or you didn't care for it, silly.
