40, significantly (not legally) attached, 21 yr old son, burnt orange hair, green eyes, 5'6", losing more of my svelt physique by the week (thanks to my significant (not legal) attachment... well, him and a thirst for copious amounts of alcoholic beverages), job consists of the initial outfitting of Navy ships, own my home in Vancleave, drive a truck, shhhh... *finger to lips* like NASCAR, love going out on the river (Pascagoula, that is) and hanging out on a sandbar, enjoy life, was married for 10 loooong years but that ended about 12 years ago (Thank You God!!), used to be a boardie but haven't been out here regularly in over 3 years.

Well lets see. Im 19 and im a male. I think thats a pretty good way to start. I know a few people on the board , well atleast i used to. I dont come here too often anymore. I joined the Marine corps in December 2004. Because of medical problems i sustained through recruit training im still on Parris Island. Umm well yea i suppose that about covers it.

I play guitar for two Baton Rouge based bands. Elsah and The Way-High Men. We're looking to network and swap shows with some of you folks. Baton Rouge has a great original music scene with more cool venues than most cities of it's size and some really good bands.

I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Larry and I have been in music for more years than I want to admit. I have been visiting this site for about 6 months and decided to join in on the fun. I love all types of music from jazz to alt rock. I no longer play but I do like watching my children play. All three of them play, one in Ohio, one here on the coast and the other is some where in TN. I attend many on the local venues and I have not been disappointed in the local talent. You have a good thing here with the message board so keep up the good work. It is a great way to promote our local bands.
