My name is Shane Wesley. I am 17. I am currently attending Pearl River Community College in Poplarville, Mississippi. My main focus is guitar. I'm in the jazz band, concert band(sax), taking classical guitar, and piano here.

Influences: Jason Becker, Marty Friedman, Paul Gilbert, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Shawn Lane, John Mcglauphlin, Al Di Meola, Eric Johnson, Richie Kotzen, Rusty Cooley, Terry Syrek, Michael Angelo Batio, Michael Romeo, Yngwie Malmsteen... As far as bands, any powerprog(stratovarius, sonata arctica, wuthering heights, progressive metal(dream theater, pain of salvation...) any 80's metal bands(maiden, Priest, queensryce, metallica, megadeth, cacophony, racer x)... Basically any guys that can play. I am a Shredding guitarist. I can play whatever i want from funk, latin, jazz, to shred guitar. I love concerts.

Outside of music i like movies.

I am in a band, we are seeking a bassist and a singer. We want guys that are musicians. People that can really play. A shredding bassist is what we need, and we need a singer male or female that can sing, not scream, i want a singer that can hit multiple octaves. We are a progressive metal band, we have a good bit of originals, and we're learning covers. We're about to start recording demo's to find musicians. I'm the publisher of Volume Magazine. It's a national rock magazine that goes out on the road with the Jagermeister Music Tour. I have been an avid supporter of unsigned and independent music since I started in this industry...gosh about 15 years ago. I work a lot but I love what I do so it doesn't seem like work.
