Rep Power: 55 | | | Superbowl Sunday So what are your plans for the big game this Sunday?
I have none yet. So it looks like I will be chillin' on my couch with some beer and pizza. |

Rep Power: 55 | | | Pepperoni Dip:
1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tsp. dried oregano
1/8 tsp garlic powder (not garlic salt)
1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes (optional, but not to me!)
1/2 cup pizza or tomato sauce
1/2 cup chopped pepperoni
1/4 cup sliced scallions
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
In a small bowl, beat together the cream cheese, sour cream, oregano, garlic powder and red pepper. Spread evenly in a 9" or 10" Pyrex pie dish. Spread sauce over top. Sprinkle with pepperoni, scallions, and green pepper. Bake in 350 degree oven for 10 minutes. Top with cheese and bake for 5 minutes more. Goes best on Triscuits. |

This is a layered dip, served cold.
Brown 1 lb. of hamburger, ground chuck, whatever, and make like you would taco meat (one of those lil packages, I highly recommend McCormick's, but any kind will do, and water). Let cool while you do the rest.
Base: 8 oz of cream cheese, 8 oz of sour cream, package of taco seasoning (any kind, again, I prefer McCormick's, has a bit more bite). Mix well, I use an electric mixer. Should turn creamy and an orangey color.
Stuff to go on top: Shredded cheese (a must, I use the fine shredded taco type, or mixed casserole or cojack), lettuce, green onions, tomatoes, black olives, whatever else you like. Chop stuff up while meat is cooling.
Spread base onto anything that will fit it... I'd recommend a 9x13 or something. I have those Hefty snap together plates, this will make three of them (he doesn't like tomatoes or black olives, so I make one with, and two without, great way to try different toppings). Spread taco meat, then cheese on top. Now spread whatever toppings you want. Additional sides could be guacamole or taco sauce.
Serve with tortilla chips or fritos. Or get really ambitious and take a flour tortilla, slice it up, fry it in hot oil (350 or so) until cripsy. |

For 8-10 lbs of wings
6 Tablespoons Salt
4 Teaspoons Pepper
5 Teaspoons Dry Mustard
4 Teaspoons Chili Powder
4 Teaspoons Cayenne Pepper
2 Teaspoons Paprika
4 Teaspoons Lemon Pepper
1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
and if you like them really spicy
4 Teaspoons Crushed Pepper Flakes
Combine all spices in a bowl and mix well. Rinse and Drain Wings. Pat dry and portion if needed. I like to dredge my wings in the spice, but you can just dust them if you dont like your wings that spicy. I I prefer to grill my wings. If you can brave the weather, then I suggest that. Otherwise you can fry them or bake them in a oven at 350 degrees. |

Rep Power: 53 | | | Instant Pesto Torta with Bread and Vegetables
Vegetable spray
4 pieces sun-dried tomatoes
4 leaves fresh basil
3 tubs, 6 ounces each, soft garlic and herb cheese (recommended: Alouette brand)
1/4 cup sun-dried tomato tapenade
1/4 cup prepared basil pesto
1 baguette or whole grain baguette, pre-sliced at the bread counter
Handful baby carrots
Handful grape tomatoes
Line a small shallow dish or bowl with plastic wrap or waxed paper. Coat wrap with vegetable spray. Arrange a pattern in bottom of the dish using the sun-dried tomatoes and basil. Add 1 1/2 tubs of garlic and herb cheese (about half a pound) to the dish and smooth over, then layer in the sun-dried tomato spread and the pesto. Spread the remaining cheese on top of the pesto. Place a serving plate over the bowl and invert the bowl. Hold on to the edges of the waxed paper or wrap to release the cheese. Remove the waxed paper or plastic wrap. Arrange the sliced baguette along 1 side of the torta.
Arrange carrots and tomatoes along the opposite side of the torta.
