SURVIVOR--SOUTHERN VERSION

Because of the popularity of the survivor shows, several southern TV
stations are joining together and are planning to do their own,
entitled: SURVIVOR SOUTHERN STYLE.

The contestants will start in Montgomery, Alabama, travel over to
Georgia and on to South Carolina. From there they will head up to North
Carolina and over to Tennessee. They will then proceed down to
Mississippi and Louisiana, finally ending up back in Alabama.

Each will be driving a pink Volvo with New Jersey license plates and
large bumper stickers that read:
"I'm Gay, I'm a Vegetarian, NASCAR Sucks, Go Yankees; Hillary In 2008,
and Deer Hunting is Murder!"

The one that makes it back to Montgomery alive, wins.

I noticed that Florida (even though it has the Daytona 500) wasn't in that. Probably because its not considered the South, but really the southern tip of New York.

by whom?
FL is more southern than most of the southen states.

Southern by geography maybe.
Ever been to Miami? Not southern. They don't even have sweet tea here! Some have never heard of it. Thats just criminal.

ever beeen to central fl? north central fl? jax? g-ville?

they don't call it Florabama or Florageorgia (where i'm from) for nothin'.

Anything above Orlando I would consider the south.
Miami isn't that small, I know I live here. I'm cosidered a minority here too. I don't see many gringos here, cept the snowbirds that come in during the winter.
