I wish I had one of those fire-pit things for the porch. I LOVE and crave bonfire-type nights.

I'm still burning Katrina trees. I cut up an oak and and a couple of pines. The good oak I split for inside. All the pine and other scraggly stuff that won't fit in the fireplace gets burned tonight.

That's the same thing we are burning. Plus some limbs from our blueberry trees that we trimmed. There is a stump or two in there as well.

We didn't have any oak trees but they would have gone in the same place yours is going.
