That's just the Australian Target stores. Target in america started as a discount division of Dayton-Hudson department stores out of Minneapolis, MN. That company recently changed its name to the Target Corporation though. So, Target Corp. owns Target.

this just makes me want to be more self-sufficent. (I think thats the word?) I want to start growing my own veggitables and fruits. And learn to make due with what I have. And yes insurance companies suck.

What I disagree with is that the lady probably had money deducted from every check she ever got while working for Walmart to pay for her insurance. You don't get your money back if nothing ever happens, do you?

Good point.
Most companies insurance benefits are partially paid by the comapny if not 50%.
I still think that if the other driver was resposible for her injuries the insurance company should have sued them as well for their damges. The womans settlement was for her pain, anguish, and loss of wages.

Same here. I'll never understand people who'll drive past 3-4 mom-n-pop stores to save .05 at WMart. It's just stupid.

I've always wondered if some insurance companies throw an office party when some one commits suicide. I mean if someone is paying premiums for 30 years and kills themself most if not all policies have a suicide clause that will not pay the beneficiaries so it's like "free" money.
