sounds to me you guys are pretty responsible. even if you add all my debt on 3 cards mine is still higher than all yours put together plus some.

Mine has gone up a tad since I bought a new camera lens

I used to have about six, went down to two and transferred the balance to the one with the lowest rate. You may want to check into that. A lot of times you can transfer the balance owed for 0% interest rate (on existing purchases) for an allotted amount of time. I'm now down to one which is plenty. Also, sometimes when you go to a store and they offer you a 10% discount on your purchase if you apply for their credit card it's not worth it in the long run. Anytime they pull your credit report your credit score goes down.
