So I was reading Livejournal and a friend of mine posted this:
This is kind of gross, but hey it's life.
I never gave it much thought but a conversation provoked interest. The next thing I knew I was searching the internet to see what others had to say. Turns out a lot of us wipe our butt one way without giving consideration to the other(s). That is, sitting, standing, hovering. Hah http://www.poopreport.com/Poll/stand_or_sit.html
The same can be said about showering. Facing the shower head vs. not facing the shower head. This one had come to mind for me before, though I'm not sure which is more popular. http://anti-state.com/forum/index.ph...threadid=18842

I remember way back in the day someone did a poll on if you folded or wadded your toilet paper when wiping. Adrian, you were on here then. Back in 2000 maybe?

'You'll get over it...' It's the clich's that cause the trouble. To lose someone you love is to alter your life for ever. You don't get over it because 'it' is the person you loved. The pain stops, there are new people, but the gap never closes. How could it? The particularness of someone who mattered enough to grieve over is not erased by anyone but death. This hole in my heart is in the shape of you and no one else can fit. Why would I want them to?? |

I guess because I've never been in the bathroom with someone while they wipe their ass, I've never given it any thought that people do it differently than I do.
Although there was a time at a bar that I was in the bathroom with someone and a girl came in to pee and she lifted her leg to wipe. I just thought that was weird. I stopped mid-sentence to say so too. Razz'll remember that.
