Rep Power: 44 ![]() | Well what else am I to do? Yes, I think the electronic voting machines are ripe for fraud what with no paper trail and all. Furthermore, I notice that every time a state tries to tighten up the voting process by ,for example, requiring an ID to vote we get the ACLU and their democrat allies raising hell saying you can't do that. They say a person has the right to vote and it is an obstacle to voting. I say a CITIZEN has the right to ONE VOTE and not requiring an ID allows people who shouldn't vote, or shouldn't vote more than once, to STEAL my vote. If Joe votes for Hillary three times then two of those votes were DISENFRANCHISING those who voted for anyone other than Hillary!!!! So yes, I see a problem with voting. But what do I do about it? I argue, I cajole, I try to convince and I vote. Short of an armed revolution I don't see an alternative and I'm too busy living and loving (said in Isaac Hayes deep voice: especially that loving part, baby) to start an armed insurrection right now. |

Rep Power: 39 ![]() | I've been seeing a lot of articles coplaining of vote fraud in the primaries. So it is possible, It's hard to believe this could be a problem in the land of the free. I really think you have to follow the money, and interest groups. IIRC Obama and Hillary have the most money 90 + mil each. Guiliani and McCain have a descent amount. Most if not all coming from big business/interest groups. Ron Paul is getting all his donations from citizens. Then I seem to notice that the media plays favorites also. Most people get their info from tv news, so in the end I think we'll get who the media wants. Last edited by PITBOSS; 01-16-2008 at 03:51 PM. Reason: Mistake |

Rep Power: 39 ![]() | Thanks for pointing out my mistake. I'm getting old. Romney did get a lot from big business, I did read a month ago that he had spent his donated money and was financing himeself. I think thats what threw me off. Heres a link. http://www.nytimes.com/2007/04/03/us...=1&oref=slogin |

Rep Power: 39 ![]() | Saw your boy Romney did pretty good in NV Matchew. Ron Paul got second, I almost didn't know that since fox displayed the results for 1 sec and never mentioned it in the whole 20 minute segment which went into depth on every other GOP candidate. |
