Airline sacrifices Goat to fix Problem Airplane

Now to allay any fears that Wilthrill is making fun of a religion (in this case hinduism) Wilthrill will imagine how other "religions" would have handled the problem starting first with:

EVANGELICAL CHRISTIANS: Jimmy Swaggart or one of his type would have been "laying hands" on the plane while saying things like "turn loose of this fine product of American engineering you foul demon from hell! Lucifer get out of this plane's avionics" Swaggart then would have passed the offering plate around and used the proceeds to procure the services of an UGLY airport prostitute.

PAGAN/WICCAN: they would have had Stevie Nicks come sing that song of hers about "just like a one wing dove sings a song sounds like he's singing....."

I MEAN FOLKS, I REMEMBER LIKE 15 YEARS AGO I WAS FLYING FROM GULFPORT, MS TO MEMPHIS,TN AND THEY HAD TO JUMP-START THE PLANE.... BUT SACRIFICING A GOAT???? I THINK I MAY HAVE HAD TO GET OFF AND TAKE A BUS.

You can't make fun of Hinduism, but you're all about hating Islam? At least Islam believes the same things most of us do...like steak is awesome!

Geez, I don't know where to start.....

It WAS humor for god's sake. Do I honestly strike you as someone afraid to express his opinion because said opinion is "politically incorrect"?

To the extent that people want to peacefully practice their religion (aka don't blow us up and shit) I'm not "all about hating Islam" or any other religion for that matter. Sure I think some are more "stupid" than others but if you want to believe that then it is your business.

HOWEVER when you, under the aegis of your "religion" start blowing up people and shit and the so-called "moderates" of your religion are more concerned with protesting Danish CARTOONISTS than MURDEROUS TERRORISTS then I DO have a problem. I have a problem with TERRORISTS AND THOSE WHO ENABLE,DEFEND AND PRAISE THEM!!! I have a problem with those who would impose 7th century morals on us under the threat of "convert or die". I personally don't think of women as cattle and I think that it is ludicrous that under Sharia law a woman can't even CHARGE a man with RAPE unless there was a male witness. I don't want to "tolerate" those values in my country. If they want those values in Saudi Arabia or whatever I don't care but not here and I for one, think it worth defending even if it "offends" those who wish to stay in the 7th century.

And BTW, I thought the whole point of this thread (sacrificing goat to "fix" airplane) was making fun of what the article CLEARLY stated was a sacrifice to the HINDU sky god. In other words obviously I CAN "make fun of Hinduism".
