So some congressional aides were going to NASCAR events in Talladega and Concord, NC. So the congressional staff who organized the trips says something to the effect of, "you guys need to get your immunization shots before you go"!

Now isn't that telling.....

Actually I heard this on the Steve Gill Show (local conservative talk radio) so get your "right wing conspiracy nuts" right junkernaut.

But am I the only one who sees this as an obvious insult from the Beltway Bandits against those of us who live in "flyover country"?

I bet for example, Congresspeople traveling to San Fransicko aren't told to wear HazMat suits or at least double bag their condoms and THAT would be FAR MORE PRACTICAL advice than that given to these guys.
