Oh, and ps, if you think the US legal system wouldn't allow this BLATANT trampling of the first amendment because there are a long list of cases espousing the virtue of free speech think again. In the mid 70's there were a long line of cases decrying the "evil" of discrimination (Brown v Board of Ed, Boiling v Sharpe, Batson v. Kentucky etc). Then the court was faced with the affirmative action cases where it was the gov't or a school that wanted to discriminate. The same court that had spent the previous decade decrying the evils of discrimination turned on a dime and began talking about "benign" discrimination. Their theory was that discrimination could be good if it were the white guy getting discriminated against.

So, don't think the court couldn't uphold this blatant attack on the first amendment.

Canada is pretty oppressive when it comes to free speech. When it comes to Homos and minorities, express yourself negatively towards these groups and you go to jail.
