HBO Special about Iraq war vets

For those of you who are my friends on MySpace you have already seen this post; I wanted to share my feelings here also

Hello to all those who see this bulletin, I hope all of those who have HBO see the special thats on this month with all of those who have been injured while serving in Iraq. I am a disabled vet and after seeing this show I feel so selfish, with all that I have gone through it is so sad that these young men and women are going through. After the show was finished I was numb and crying because of the pain I have experienced and what these kids are experiencing.

I strongly suggest if you have HBO, please watch this special "Alive day Memories" Please watch this show then if you know a vet, disabled vet, or someone currently in the Military tell him/her Thank you.................

I am posting this to raise the awareness of those who are our Children, Brothers, Sisters, Mothers and Fathers.

Are you a Desert Shield/Storm vet? I was there with the 24th ID (1st Bn 75th Rangers)

I was deployed to Germany to fill in voids left by those who went to the Gulf. My deployment was canceled when the War in 91 ended in 100 hours. During my time in the military time I was Active Duty. While in Germany I was in charge of a few Reservists and we all were packed and Ready to go to the Gulf while waiting at Ramsteim. After the War was done I continued to stay on in Germany until the person I was replacing returned from the Desert. This was not of my choice but of those above me.

Hey,it took every one of us to make it go as smoothly as it did.It's just a damn shame that today's troops don't have a "front line".like we did...

Whats a damn shame is more have Died, since this damn thing became a Police Action. I feel they are doing like Nam, tying the hands of the Military again. Just go in there and if they are driving a White P/U or look at your wrong; do them. Let God, Allah; Who ever these Suicidal Assholes believe in; sort them out.......
