How the Drive-bys would cover D-day

I was thinking about the MEN who stormed Normandy 63 years ago and pondering how they would be covered by today's drive-by media.

The New York Times June 1 1944 (5 days BEFORE D-Day)

Secret Illegal Wiretaps and Planned Illegal Assaults on German Mainland

Today, a confidential source within the Roosevelt administration revealed that the Allies plan to invade Normandy beach within the next week. The plan (devised after illegally intercepted German commications revealed that the germens thought Patton would lead an assault on Calais) calls for an amphibious force to be inserted in shaky unamored landing vehicles and especially vulnerable to U-boat attacks during the crossing of the English channel which will take place before dawn.

Yesterday, allied forces attempted an invasion of the German Mainland. Though they did secure a beach head (and put 60,000 troops on that beachhead) they suffered massive casualties causing some in the US Congress to call for an end to this "bloodbath". The Roosevelt administration is under increasing criticism for it's handling of the war. "World War 2 is just a bumper sticker not a war" said a leading opponent of the administration. "Where are the weapons of mass destruction?' echoed another. "What happened to the civil rights of the german people?' asked still another critic. These are good questions and call into question the very document on which this nation is allegedly based.
Furthermore, the administration once again ignored the growing peril of global warming and rough seas and a high tide claimed many of the American lives lost. For how long will this administration continue it's ill-fated wars against Germany and Mother Earth?.....

And you know the sad part is it's TRUE!!!!!!!

You're correct, Wil (this rarely happens, so enjoy!).
This topic got me thinking. First of all, I support Islam. It's a beautiful religion at its core, but people are trying to hijack it, in the same way the Nazis took over Germany. They are trying to tell other Muslims that in order to be a good Muslim, "this is what you must do!"
It's the same thing Hitler told Germany a while back. In order to be a good German "this is what you must do".
Hope this sheds light on who we are fighting. I know for damn sure the term "Islamo-fascist" is dead on.

Hey Mikael I was watching a show the other night called "Iran, the next Iraq" on the discovery channel or one of those and when going over the history of Iran they mentioned that it was called Persia before (I knew that) but that right before World War two they supported Germany (seem to like the german solution to the jewish problem etc) so much so that they named their country Iran which allegedly means aryan land (the Iranians are NOT arab) or something like that.

But you are diverting me from my rant about the drive-by's...

So let me end with a question. Is there any length to which the drive-by's will NOT go to tear down the very country that allows their existence??? I mean the "articles" I wrote above could have very easily come from the New York Times. Hell, the Times is even more radical than that. So, is there any length to which the drive-by's will NOT go to tear down the very country that allows their existence???

There is nothing they wouldn't do for ratings. And the more outrage they can cause will do the trick.
People should start looking for real news outlets.
