Well thank you...it IS exhausting...

I never thought I'd be a 'home-school' mom...

but it's very rewarding.

I want to do it, but with money and the patience it takes. I'm afraid to try it.

It was really hard to adjust to... Ryan had never went to elementary school, but J had and so it was a hard adjustment for him... but once we got into the material, he got excited and once I allowed him to pick what he wanted to learn and when, it was even better.

It's hard teaching a kindergartner... EVERYTHING is a new concept and by teaching J who is advanced for his age, at the same time, it's hard not to leave Ry in the dust... it took about three weeks to get our pace. While J was doing this subject, Ry and I would do this and there's some things that they do together, etc... but now, it's like clockwork. And they both love it.

It was MUCH easier when Leya was 5 months old and played happily in her playpen while we worked too...lol.... but she helps me teach them now haha

lol yeah parker is getting straight A's and gets bored in the class room. So I think he would take off too. Ella likes to distract.....lol

Home Schooling should be a right. If I feel the school nearest me sucks and is warping my childs mind, I'd like to know I could do something about it without moving. Once again we see our liberties being taken away.
