Yeah Mikael and so did EVERY news organization that did a recount even those conservative bastions like the New York Times and the Los Angelas newspaper.

I don't think Barak is dumb or can't count. He was probably tired and in any event made a verbal gaffe.

But if Bush makes a verbal gaffe suddenly he is the dumbest man alive (see SEVERAL current threads for this MIS-logic). It seems that one side has to resort to saying "Bush is dumb". I HATED Bill Clinton. I think he belongs in jail. And Bill Clinton did say some stupid things (I never had sex with that woman. It depends on what IS means.). But I never had to resort to saying Bill Clkinton is dumb. It wasn't true of Clinton. It is not true of Obama. It's not true of Bush.

I'm really sick of hearing people STILL whining about the 2000 election. Did you not pay attention in high school? Go learn about the electoral college and stop whining about the 2000 election. If this country were a true democracy and the populace decided everything, liberalism would be crushed! Gay marriage would be outlawed. Roe v. Wade would be overturned. Flag burning would be against the law. Sometimes I almost wish this were pure democracy so the moral majority could crush all the pot smoking hippies.

Really? I mean, REALLY?! Actually, that would be great, because Gore won the popular vote. But it wouldn't be so great, because I think Bush I won the popular vote over Clinton in '92. But things being what they are, I definately believe the Bush "W." team hijacked Florida in 2000. Gore was way ahead and you know it. Guess who was on the "recount team".
