Man BURNS salt water

http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5i...ZlvLnfsxP7ToKw

A man (god you have to love the inventor spirit that is America. This would not have occurred in any other nation on Earth) has discovered away to use radio frequencies to allow salt water to BURN.

Can anyone say "water engine"?

Nostrawilthrill wishes to go on the record right now. If this pans out and they can run cars on salt water, the DIRT PEOPLE (aka whacko environmentalists) will be OPPOSED to that also!!!

Yes, that's the first and last you'll see of that technology!

im not a dirt person, but no matter what kind of fuel we use, were gonna affect the environment in some miniscule way. i wonder what the exhaust from this fuel would be.

as for the technology being hidden, this guy hasnt even presented his findings to the important people yet. most likly theyll just ignore him and laugh him off the stage

let me change part of that last statement....solar and wind power doesnt have any exhaust so they wouldnt affect the environment in any way other than aesthetic

Well it is "burning" the hydrogen part of the water molecule.I know in hydrogen fuel cell cars allegedly the exhaust is WATER.

You'd also have the salt and oxygen left in the "water" that had been "burnt".

Unless I'm missing something all of these are NATURAL ELEMENTS and thus,by definition, not pollutants.

But the dirt people think CO2 is a pollutant so I wouldn't put anything past them.

Also with respect to the availability of water consider the WATER cycle. It rains (water falls from sky). The water collects and over time changes to water vapor which rises. When it is high enough it cools downs, condenses and falls from the sky again.

If you increase the amount of water vapor (burning water), you increase the amount of RAIN. Sort of that first law of physics, can't destroy or create matter. Can only change its form.

now heres the problem that well have to consider prepare for: the water vapor would collect in the atmosphere, then fall to the earth in the form or rain....but after prolonged use, eventually the cycle will become overwhelmed and we will have constant cloudy skies....which will lead less sunlight reaching plants, which will lead to many animals dieing, which will cause famine, then war and bloodshed.......not in our lifetime of course, but eventually.

every fuel system will have its drawbacks.

man you have a gloomy outlook on it
if that was true the earth would have been history a long time ago.

It's bullshit.

The most efficient way to hydrolyze water is DC current. It's ratio is less than 1. That is, the energy from burning the H and O back to H2O yields less energy than is used to split it.

RF frequencies are less efficient.

Enough power will cause the sodium and chlorine to recombine, and the H and O will also burn and recombine. Flames. So what?

It still takes several times as much energy to maintain the reaction than it yields.

The "professor" backing it does have a degree, but he's a known con artist who likes milking things like this for headlines and $$$.

It's yet another perpetual motion machine.
