Obama's slip of the tougue

During his first campaign trip this weekend, the Illinois senator told a crowd in Iowa: "We now have spent $400 billion and have seen over 3,000 lives of the bravest young Americans wasted." (Watch Obama announce his candidacy)

He immediately apologized on Sunday, saying the remark was "a slip of the tongue."

How many more times can this guy stick his foot in his mouth? A slip of the tounge? That tells me he didn't mean to say it, but he sure was thinking it. Welcome to the presidential race you pompous ass!

That's what I was wondering myself...

Besides, the last seven years should have made us accustomed to slip-ups, faux pas and foot in mouth syndrome. I have not heard any apologies from the puppet in the Oval Office for his mince of words... nor anything else for that matter.
