Thank You Alec Baldwin

Well by now I'm sure most of you have heard the Alec Baldwin phone call to his 11 YEAR-OLD daughter in which he was going to straighten her ass out and called her a disgusting human being and a rude little pig.

I find it interesting that the fact that this was leaked (Bassinger or the kid, probably Bassinger) has been ignored. Given the content of the call I could see Ms Bassinger playing the tape for a judge but the press? Looks like dirty pool to me...

I also note how interesting it is that conservatives are labelled as engaging in hatespeech when prominent liberals do it SO MUCH MORE.

And finally I'd like to thank Mr Baldwin. My kids were in the car and heard the tape with me. Now, anytime they give me trouble or are complaining, I say, "Well I hear Alec Baldwin has room at his house". It shuts'em up every time!!

Well yeah what he said was over the line especially to an eleven year old (kids can make you pretty angry and you are required by law to support them until they are eighteen so I can understand the frustration Mr Baldwin probably felt but calling an eleven year old a "disgusting human being" is a bit much). Spert was right. Baldwin should have "straightened her ass out" face to face.

But what about Ms Bassinger in all of this??? Am I the only one who thinks it dirty pool to release that PRIVATE tape to the PRESS??? (again, I would have shown it to a JUDGE to get a TRO or something to protect the kid but the PRESS??)

PS I guess it's good for Baldwin (who BTW has a LONG history of vebal hatespeech as the liberals call it) that he didn't call his daughter a nappy-headed ho'.

The next time Alec Baldwin leaves a nasty message for his daughter, it'll cost him...ten cents a minute plus roaming charges since he's now off her T-Mobile MyFaves. The rail-thin actor has also lost free text-messaging priviledges after these ill-considered missives:

* "u r a dsgstg fat l*itle pig, f u luv dad"

* "tell yr mother to sck a dk you f'in puke, luv dad"

* "U ungrateful whore i will strtn your ass out, dnt forget it's daylight saving set clock ahead idiot - Dad"

Baldwin's place on MyFaves has been replaced by actor Chad Michael Murray, which is no cause for alarm at all

I listed to the tape - it sounds like his daughter has been fucking with him. It's not just a spur of the moment tirade. I'm not making any excuse for him - the name calling is still BS in my book.

Thanks for the post. I just love how Fox ran this story into the ground to try to ruin him. Not that he's all that great, it just shows Fox bias. Oh, and Fox is a drive by media outlet. They just shoot out of the other side of the car.
