Rep Power: 44 ![]() | Tim Russert promoted out of the drive-bys As you all know, wilthrill hates the drive-by media (ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNN and most major newspapers)and rarely misses a chance to criticize them. However, one of them, has actually showed some fairness and asked non-softball questions of Hillary. That one is Tim Russert who I believe works for NBC or MSNBC. A month or two ago Russert asked Hillary whether she would agree with one of his former guest who had said there were some circumstances in which he would ok torture. Hillary said she disagreed. Russert pointed out that his former guest was her husband Bill Clinton and Hillary made a crack about talking to Bill about that when he gets home. Fast forward to three days ago. Russert asked, Ms Clinton do you agree with New York Governor Spitzer's plan to give drivers licenses to illegal aliens?" Hillary BLEW it on the answer so badly that her fellow democrats attacked her. Hillary's campaign has come out and said that Russert was belligerent and it was a case of six guys ganging upon the poor little woman (this the same woman who portrays herself as STRONG and wants to stand toe to toe with Osama Bin Laden etc)!!!! Folks, since when is it off limits for a reporter to ask a PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE a question on the SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT DOMESTIC ISSUE of the campaign? Well wilthrill is nothing if not fair, so wilthrill has to admit that Russert, at least, is capable of showing fairness and objectivity. Therefore wilthrill is 'promoting" Tim Russert out of the drive-bys and any future references to the drive-by media by wilthrill do NOT include Mr. Russert unless they specifically say so. Oh, and PS, if Hillary can't tell the truth about her support for illegal aliens why should you believe anything she says??? |

Rep Power: 43 ![]() | Does wilthrill HAVE to refer to himself in the third person? lol! Hillary should have studied Bill's "waffling" technique better.

Rep Power: 44 ![]() | Yes Wilthrill does have to refer to himself in the third person. It makes him feel important!!! Ah yes, I DID leave out Fox. You are right in that Fox does have practically the SAME template as the rest of the drive-bys. They cover it up better because they at least pretend to be fair (for example Fox shows have the same number of liberals and conservatives as opposed to the ABC "fairness" of having three liberals for every conservative) but they are driven by profits just like the rest and will cover Anna Nicole Smith for three weeks solid just because of ratings all the while saying NOTHING about REAL ISSUES!!!! I used to like Fox but they are too damn liberal now so I can't stomach them much either. |
