Prelude to WW3? With all the info of Iran being involved with the insurgency, and Russia and China getting oil from Iran, are we on the course to Armageddon? I think it's possible.

The troop "surge". Democrats are against it. I mostly go Dem, but I'm all for finishing the job, and untying the hands of our soldiers. It's time to fuck 'em up.

The Democratic solution is to "Redeploy". The problem I see developing is Iran's growing defiance in the region. If we pull all of our troops out, Iran is most likely to "annex" southern Iraq.

Yes there is. Give Iran's leader enough rope to hang himself. The Iranian people aren't so happy with him. At this point sanctions can make a difference. But it's a fine art. Too strict, and the Iranian people will rally around their leader. Just enough, and they will abandon him.

That could be a good strategy. You never know about those people over there. They are different. We have been reading them wrong for some time now. You can't trust what they say. I don't know, it's touch and go.

They are just like us. They have a huge college educated population, and they are not religious zealots like, say in Iraq or Afghanistan. They do have extremists in power, but, the extremists are becoming considered less and less relevant every day. If you do a myspace search for Iranian members, you'd find a ton of beautiful women who look like western models.
I think Iran's leadership is trying to use this issue to drive a wedge between the U.S. and Iran to stay in power. Same thing with their involvement in Iraq.

well unfortunatly, the right thing is subjective. theres a considerable difference between the eastern and western mindsets. if you ask 6 different people from all over the world what the "right thing" is, youll most likly get six different answers
