Now Mikael, don't you think an appropriate question for Ms Clinton might be, "how is it that a MAIL CARRIER and his stay-at-home wife were able to "donate" $213,000 to the Democrats and $55,000 to Hillary in the space of three years?"

I'LL BET THE FARM, Ms Clinton is NEVER asked such a question by the press!!!!!

I'd bet more than that that if it were say Fred Thompsom or ANY OTHER REPUBLICAN, the drive-bys would be doing primetime specials on corruption in politics.

She's getting asked about it now. But mostly Fox news. She said she's donating the money to charity. I'll bet she gets a pass.

Not only that Mikael but give her a short amount of time and she'll be spouting about "the corrupting influence of money in politics" and republicans.

THIS IS YET ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF THE DRIVE-BY MEDIA's BIAS!!!

So on 9-10-2007 (conveniently one day before 911 and during the Petreaus hearings) Hillary's campaign announces that they will give back the $850,000 in illegally raised "donations".

Consider a few things:

1. I believe (jump in and correct me if I'm wrong) Hillary just broke the CORRUPT MONEY record. I know of no other case in American history where a candidate had to return so much corrupt money!!!!

2. To those who would maintain that Hillary didn't know, I'd point out that the Clintons have a LONG RECORD of getting illegal money from the chinese. Hell, in 1996 they were getting funds from the People's Liberation Army for god's sake!

Hillary Clinton's campaign couldn't explain yesterday why it blew off warnings about felon-turned-fund-raiser Norman Hsu.... Yesterday, the campaign insisted it did all it should to vet Hsu after California businessman Jack Cassidy warned in June that Hsu's investment operation was fishy. Cassidy e-mailed his tips to the California Democratic Party, which forwarded them to the Clinton campaign....Cassidy raised a red flag after a friend came to him with a tale of being offered 64% annual returns by Hsu.

"It was either predatory lending or a Ponzi scheme," the source said, adding that the FBI had interviewed Cassidy and took as evidence numerous e-mails he sent to political officials about Hsu.

Camp Clinton never responded to Cassidy, but dealt with the worried California party members. According to the Los Angeles Times, Clinton's Western finance director, Samantha Wolf, e-mailed, "I can tell you with 100% certainty that Norman Hsu is NOT involved in a Ponzi scheme," adding, "He is COMPLETELY legit."

HER CAMPAIGN KNEW BACK IN JUNE AND YET WAS STILL REASSURING CALI DEMOCRATS THAT HSU WAS LEGIT!!!!!!

3. I'd bet the farm that MOST OF YOU are seeing this story for the first time. You might have heard there was something funny, but I'll bet you didn't hear about her returning the $850,000. WHY IS THAT? Is anyone here STUPID ENOUGH to try to argue that if it were Fred Thompsom or Rudi Guiliani the DRIVE-BYS wouldn't be covering it 24-7????

4. She SAYS she will give it back to the 260 donors who gave it. So in the case of the Paw family mentioned in the first post (mail carrier and his stay-at-home wife) is she going give them $213,000 back because we KNOW they didn't donate that much of THEIR OWN money? Talk about hitting the lottery!!!
And will anybody in the DRIVE-BY media follow up and make sure she actually gives it back?
