having nukes and using nukes are two different things just like owning a gun and shooting up a school yard full of kids are two different things

besides...China, Russia, Pakistan, and North Korea all have nukes......basically the 'we can't let them get nukes' mentality is the bury your head in the sand approach i.e. if our scientists can develop nukes then sooner or later so can theirs (WITHOUT OUR KNOWLEDGE) so we should ASSUME that every nation on the planet already has a nuke and work towards building a GLOBAL 'Star Wars' network in order to prevent the 'M.A.D.' scenario....

But all kidding aside, the last nuclear inspection (before Iran kicked the inspectors out) revealed the presence of HIGHLY ENRICHED (aka weapons grade) uranium.

I think you were joking Clockwork, so this isn't directed specifically at you, but those who argue that we should do nothing should take Clone's apporach and at least be honest enough to admit that you don't mind Iran with a nuke.
