Hey guys, it's been about a month since I posted last about the OS Music Festival. Right now we are looking at having it on July 21st in downtown OS at Marshall Park, but as of right now nothing is set in stone.
Any conflicts with this date by anyone who wants to play or attend? I am going to look into reserving Marshall Park and the Mary C.'s auditorium as a rain back up on that date.
The format this year will be similar to last years festival, with the exception being that we are looking into setting up some lights and going a little bit later into the evening with the bands. I also am really hoping to get some of the local bars and such involved by having it run a little later too. (not to mention allowing more bands to play...)
Anyway, I have heard from a few bands interested in playing. Everyone that played last year was great and we welcome you to submit something again. For right now, plan on the festival being Saturday, July 21st
I mentioned something about press kits before too, it doesn't have to be anything formal, if you want to mail it to me, I will post my address again, but all I am looking for is a couple of demo songs, a picture, a band bio, and a website link if you have one. This can also be emailed to me at
