Hey, they were TWO-hit wonders! Their cover of Cum On Feel The Noize was the first hit, and Metal Health (Bang Your Head) was also somewhat of a hit. The album Metal Health was the first metal album to debut at #1 in the Billboard Top 200 album charts.
Metal Health went 6x platinum and Condition Critical went platinium, so that's at least 7 million sold in the US alone. Figure they probably sold a couple million more worldwide, though I don't know how to get that info.
So that's pretty respectable for two-hit wonde3rs. No Thriller but not bad.
But yeah, they also crashed as fast as they rose, and by now they probably are pretty burned out, just Kevin and Frankie are original members. That's why tickets were $10 for them at the Hard Rock.
Randy Rhoads wouldn't have gone back to them if he'd lived, though. He'd have done a solo project if he'd lived to leave Ozzy's band, I think.
